Need to escape the daily stress, juggling acts, hectic schedules? The
tension of modern living? Relax and unwind. Spoil yourself. Breathe in
the fresh pure air and take a break with family and friends at this
spacious, private, comfortable and child friendly home, set on a 520 acre
working farm. It sleeps 10-12, and boasts a games room with toys, books
etc, as well as a separate granny flat - ideal for large family
groups/extended families.
Breath-taking views of Snelling Beach and the Althorpe islands. Abundant
wildlife - wallabies hip-hopping across the lawn at night, especially at
the end of summer. Koalas, echidnas, wedge tail eagles etc. Or sit back
and watch the sheep and cattle graze on the hills around.
Perfectly located in the middle of the north coast of the island - ideal
to use as a base if you want to explore other areas. Close to home is
Snelling Beach - 2km down Constitution Hill. A pristine 800m long beach,
with the mouth of Middle River at the eastern end. Great for surfing,
snorkelling and swimming.
If interested in deep sea fishing, a number of charter boats offer their
services. Guests are welcome to enquire about touring the farm.
We will be happy to assist you with travel arrangements to the island -
whether you wish to come by ferry or air.
